Professor yon Haast will make two excursions during the vacations with his students to Banks Peninsula and Malvern Hills, to introduce them to practical field work, and to explain to them on the spot the geological structure of these districts. A type collection of minerals, rocks, and fossils can be consulted by the students in the lectureroom during museum hours. Botany — Structural and Physiological.
