CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION BOARD (REPORT OF PROCEEDINGS OF).

The Chairman, Civil Service Examination Board, to the Hon. the Colonial Secretart, Office of the Civil Service Examination Board, Sir,— Wellington, 10th July, 1877. I have the honor to submit the following report of the proceedings of the Civil Service Examination Board for the year ending 30th June, 1877. DECEMBER, 1876, EXAMINATION. Fifty-eight candidates presented themselves for the Junior Examination, and 26 for the Senior Examination. Of these, 35 catrdidates passed the Junior Examination, and 19 the Senior.
