BALANCE SHEET OF THE PUBLIC TRUST OFFICE FOR THE YEAR 1874-5.

Presented to both Houses of the General Assembly in pursuance of Section 42 of " The Public Trust Office Act, 1872."

The Commissioners of Audit transmit to the Hon. the Colonial Treasurer the balance sheets of the Public Trustee's Office for the year ending the 30th June, 1875, prepared in accordance with the 42nd section of " The Public Trust Office Act, 1872." These accounts have been audited and found correct. The Commissioners remark that the Public Trust Office appears to be now self-supporting, even supposing the whole salary of the Public Trustee to be paid out of its income.
