One family has removed to Napier, to join some friends, and the other two families have taken service in the neighbourhood. Of the thirty single men, twenty-three have settled down like the married men, two have gone as shepherds on the Ruataniwha Plains, one is a tailor at high wages, and one a shopman at Napier, and the other three are working on the Hutt Railway works. Mar. 9 llauriceville and Ekatahuara, Forty-Mile Bush, Wellington All the married men are settled on their locations, and are rapidly paying off their debt to Government. All but four of the single men are likewise settled. Two have moved into Palmerston to join friends, and the other two have taken work from Bettlers in the Wairarapa.
