RETURN SHOWING THE NUMBERS AND DISTRIBUTION OF ARMS BELONGING TO THE COLONIAL GOVERNMENT; ALSO THE NUMBERS AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE COLONIAL FORCES.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives of 9th June, 1869. That there be laid upon the Table of this House—" A Return of all Arms belonging to the Colonial Government, showing the present distribution of the same, the names of the Corps or Troops in whose hands they are, and the date of their receiving the same, specifying the kind of weapon and their condition; also, a Statement of the Number of Arms, specifying the kind, at present ordered from England or Australia by the Government; also, a Return of the various corps of Constabulary, Volunteers, Militia, and Native Contingent—with the number of each, and where stationed." (Mr. Fox.)
