(Extract from ike Journals of the House of Representatives, Monday, the 23rd day of /September, 1867.) Resolved, —" That, in the opinion of this House, it is desirable that inquiries should be made by the Government, with a view of ascertaining the best means to be adopted for introducing Salmon into the Colony, the most favourable situation for carrying out any experiments in connection with the breeding of Salmon, and the probable cost of such experiment."
