N.B. —The Returns furnished to the Treasury include receipts from Ist August, 1867. There is no information in the Treasury respecting payments made to Natives since 31st January, 1869. Tho moneys are paid by the Receiver to the account of Messrs. Pollen and Mackay, at the Bank of New Zealand, Shortland, on behalf of the Native owners.
