Porima : ML, 14 Wairarapa : M., 4. Napier : M., 78 ; F., 2. City of Nelson : M., 162 ; F., 10. Coliingwood: M., 3. Westland North : M., 141; F., 4. Picton : M., 41. Heathcote : M., 38. Town of Lyttelton : M., 136; F., 1. Akaroa : EL, 4. Timaru : 41., 26. Westland South : M., 3. Westland Boroughs : M., 110 ; F., 2. Port of Dunedin : M., 81; F., 3. Port Chalmers : M., 358 ; F., 13. The addition of the numbers for Chatham Islands (184), and of the persons in the Shipping (2,169), to the above total for the Electoral Districts (216,284), will bring out the general total of 218,637 shown in Table I. as the Population of the Colony.
