No. 6. Copy of Despatch from the Seceetaby op State to Governor Sir Geoege Geey. Sic,— Downing Street, 24th October, 1867. Adverting to my Circular Despatch of the 19th instant, respecting tho postal service between Australia and this country, I have the honor to inform you that Her Majesty's Government consider it necessary that tho conditions numbered twenty-one, twenty-two, thirty-five, and thirty-six, should be inserted in any forms of tender which may be prepared by the Australian Governments concerned, in addition to those specified in the concluding paragraph of the Treasury letter, to which your attention has already been called. I have, &c, Governor Sir George Grey, X.C.8., &c. Buckingham and Ciiandos.

Adverting to the two Circular Despatches, dated respectively 19th October and 24th October, 1867, on the subject of the Postal Services between Australia and England, and of the proposals of the Postal Conference at Melbourne in March last, I have tho honor to request you to bo good enough to inform me what steps the Government of New South Wales proposes to take in reference to this matter.
