The land in 11 3 was surveyed many years ago, and in the time of the former Commissioners Mr. Kingston's claim was opposed by Mr. Busby. After an investigation on the spot a part of the land claimed by Mr. Hingston wa-s found to belong to Mr. Busby. New Grant issued to W. P. C. Hingston 10 February, 1862. With regard to 113a and 113c, the laud was included in the reserve under the " Bay of Islands Settlement Act." The claimant has not, up to this time, decided whether the compensation shall be assessed by the Commissioner or by arbitration.
