Appendix p. 4 No. 3 No. 4 Customs Eegulation Ordinance — continued Quarter Sessions Ordinance said Acts of the Governor and Council of New South Wales were adopted, and are now in force within the said Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and to make provision for the collection of certain Duties on goods imported into and for the general regulation of the Revenue of Customs in the Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies. (17th June, 1841.) An Ordinance for instituting and regulating Courts of General and Quarter Sessions in the Colony of New Zealand and to outhorise the holding of Petty Sessions within the same, and for defining their respective powers and determining the places at which the same shall be holden, and for repealing within the Colony of New Zealand certain Acts of the Governor and Council of New Sourh Wales adopted and now in force within the said Colony of New Zealand. (24th June, 1841.) An Ordinance for prohibiting the Distillation of Sprits within the Colony of New Zealand. (23rd June, 1841.) Repealed or superseded by subsequent enactment. Finally repealed, by No. 30, 1858. 5th Sept., 1842. B— 8 - Distillation Prohibition Ordinance An Ordinance to repeal this was passed Session III, No. 13, and reserved but never confirmed. Repealed by Session II, No. 2, and by No. 30, 1858. 5th Sept., 1842, No. 5 Appendix p. 7 No. 6 Court of Requests Ordinance An Ordinance for instituting Courts of Civil jurisdiction to be called " Courts of Requests" in different parts of the Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies.
