DAVIS CUP TENNIS PROPOSAL FOR CONFERENCE LONDON, July 12 An international lawn tennis conference will be held in London on September 13 and 14. Discussions will be of an informal nature as not all nations will be represented. The delegates will consider a plan submitted by Sir Norman Brookes whereby weaker nations in the Davis Cup will play each other on a regional basis before meeting the stronger countries.
