MILITARY DEFAULTERS

SIX MEN GRANTED RELEASE Reserved decisions in the cases of 13 military defaulters who had applied to him for release from detention on parole were announced in Auckland yesterday by the No. 1 Revision Authority, Mr A. H. Johnstone, K.C. Six of the men were granted indefinite release and a similar number had their applications declined. The case of the remaining applicant was deferred. The successful applicants were:— A. R. Donaldson (Okaihau), D. H. McConnell (Whakapara), J. A. Lydster (Takapuna), R. J. Underwood (Whangarei), E. A. Crane (Devonport) and D. R. Lomas (Whangarei). Among those whose applications were refused was R. C. Greaves, of Hamilton.
