TAX RELIEF URGED SYDNEY, July 12 Federal Opposition leaders and sections of the Australian Press arc arguing forcefully for a reduction in taxation. This follows a statement by the Federal Treasurer. .Mr Chifley, that expenditure for the last financial year (ended June 30) was £45,000,000 less than the Budget estimate while revenue was £18.000,000 above the estimate. Mr Fadden, Leader of the Country Party, declared that the Government should review taxation immediately and institute reductions in the new financial year.
