Lee and herself (Waikato Times, May 17) “They had left the Labour Party, Mrs Lee said, because it was no longer true to its pledges.” The truth is and MRS LEE KNOWS IT, that Mr Lee was EXPELLED from the Labour Party for disloyalty to his leader and Prime Minister, the late Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, and among other things, for publishing anonymously whilst Parliamentary Under-Secretary an article in a magazine reflecting on the sanity of the late Mr Savage. Mr Lee did not leave the Labour Party. He was expelled. Do not be misled by untrue statements. Show your contempt and VOTE BARRELL 1009
