RANGOON BOMBED
RAID ON SUPPLY DUMPS
(Received March 23, 1 p.m.) WASHINGTON, March 22
A sizable task force of Indiabased Super-Fortresses bombed important military and storage areas at Ragoon today.
A correspondent at the 20th Bomber Command Headquarters in j India says the principal targets were i supply dumps on Lake yictoria and | Mingaladon cantonment. Results j were reported: .“Good to excellent,” j with fifes and explosions in the dump | areas. Both anti-aircraft fire and j fighter opposition were meagre and | all the planes returned safely.
