NATIONAL PARTY
BRANCH MEETINGS HELD Well-attended and enthusiastic meetings of the Te Rapa and Ngahinepouri branches of the National Party in the Raglan electorate were held during the week and were addressed by the chairman of the electorate, Mr Hallyburton Johnstone. The following officers were elected at the Te Rapa branch.—Chairman, Mr G. W. D. Rogers; secretary, Mr E. H. Jull; delegates to the electoral committee, the chairman and secretary and Messrs A. Holmes, J. E. Barker and Mrs A. Holmes. At Ngahinepouri the officers elected were: Chairman, Mr W. McFarland; secretary, Mr C. S. Reid; delegates to the electoral committee, the chairman and secretary, Messrs R. C. Gillard, Stewart Reid, H. D. McDonald and H. G. Lorent.
