INJURED BY TREE

DEATH FOLLOWS IN HOSPITAL A fatal accident occurred at Monavale, Cambridge, yesterday, the victim dying in the Waikato Hospital at 3.30 this morning. He was Mr Edward John Pentelow, aged 37, single, elder son of Mr and Mrs J. W. Pentelow, of Monavale. Mr Pentelow received an injury to the head while lopping limbs from a blue gum tree on the property of Mr Fred Williamson yesterday afternoon. Mr Pentelow was cutting a limb about 4ft from the ground. When the limb was cut part of it sprang back to strike him a severe blow on the head. Dr. Johnson was summoned from Cambridge and after Mr Pentelow had received attention he was removed to the Waikato Hospital.
