PROGRESS IN DOMINION (By Telegraph. —press Association) WELLINGTON, Sunday Victory Loan subscriptions to Saturday totalled £28,916,729, an increase of £1,286,807 on Friday night’s figures, leaving a balance of £11,083,271 to reach the required £40,000,000. Objective percentages obtained to date are as follows:—Southland, 90 per cent; Auckland, 87; Otago, 72; Gisborne-East Coast, 71; Taranaki, 70; Marlborough, 70; North Otago, 70; Wellington, 65; Northland, 64; Manawatu, 64; Wanganui, 64; Hawke’s Bay, 61; Buller, 60; Nelson, 60; South Canterbury, 58; Waikato-King Country, 55; Thames-Bay of Plenty, 55; Canterbury, 54; Westland, 54; Wairarapa, 53.
