CLOUDY AND MILD The Meteorological office, Wellington, issues the following forecast for the period noon to-day to 5 p.m. tomorrow:— General situation: An anti-cyclonc is passing eastward off the North Island. A depression is moving southward over the central Tasman. Forecast: Moderate to strong northeasterly to northerly v/inds; weather cloudy to overcast, with occasional rain, chiefly during to-night; temperatures mild. Further outlook: Scattered showers!
