VENGEANCE WEAPON
GERMANY’S NEWEST PROJECT TWO MILE EXPLOSIVE RADIUS (Received Sept. 30, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 29 American Third Army troops during their drive into Germany obtained information of the latest German vengeance weapon—a 14-ton projectile with a reputed explosive radius of two miles, says the American Press correspondent. According to this information the projectile is sixty feet long and 5£ feet in diameter and weighs fourteen tons. At the take-off it is propelled by a mixture of liquid air and alcohol, is shot into the air vertically, and is controlled by radio.
It is believed the Germans have not got the new weapon in operation yet.
