THREAT OF DECISIVE BLOW NEW YORK, Sept. 18 Masanori Ito, the Domei Agency’s naval commentator, said: “With the enemy gradually nearing our vital inner defence line the Japanese Navy is alertly watching for an opportune moment to deal a decisive blow. A pre-requisite for the enemy to commence battle is ability to swing into action before Japan’s replenishment of her air force, which is the only weak point in the Japanese navy.”
