VICTORY LOAN TOTAL £349,036 IN DISTRICT Yesterday £15,254 was invested in the Victory Loan in the Waikato-King Country district, of which amount £5,464 was invested in Hamilton and £9,.790 in the rest of the district. The total for the whole district to date is £349.036, the total for Hamilton being £132,224 and that for the rest of the district £216,812. DOMINION TOTAL £8,841,579 ' INVESTED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday The amount subscribed to the Victory Loan today was £650,974, making the total to date £8,841,579. The leading objective percentages obtained to date are:—Southland district, 47 per cent; Auckland, 43; Taranaki, 30; Otago, 27; Marlborough, 23; Wanganui, 21.
