It resulted in each side losing two votes to ••informal.” The final figures are:— Restoration 8,588 No-License 5,649 The majority for restoration over the required 60 per cent of the total valid votes is 45 4-5. an increase of two-fifths on the original declaration. An amendment declaration will have to be made by the returning officer. The recount was supervised by Mr R. C. Abernethy, S.M., and two scrutineers were present on behalf of the No-License Party.
