The colt is a half-brother to Lord Chancellor and Mintlaw and full brother to Justina. Mr Austin was acting for Mr J. Coleman, of Melbourne. For the first time on record 12 lots sold in one day for above 1000 guineas. They were four colts by Foxbridge, three by Coronach, three by Robin Goodfellow, and two by Battle Song. The second best prices were 1600 guineas, obtained from a colt by Robin Goodfellow from Sunny Maid, bred by M. J. M. Paul, of Hastings. and bought by Mr J. R. McKenzie, Christchurch, and a colt by Foxbridge from Ann Acre, bred by the Trelawnev stud. Cambridge, and bought by Mr J. L Cheesman, of Wellington, who races the full-sistei Bridge Acre. Mr A. J.
