SOFIA BOMBED AGAIN

LARGE FIRES BURNING LONDON, Jan. II Sofia, the Bulgarian capital, was aga'n raided by Allied air forces today. Fires wore then still burning in the city from the previous day’s attack Although Fortresses were over Sofia only five minutes yesterday the load dropped was the heaviest the city has yet felt. The bombing was made extremely hazardous by a haze over the target, snow on the ground, and a temperature of 30 degrees below zero. Liberators attacked targets in Yugoslavia, where they destroyed nine German planes for the loss of three. Many targets in Italv ahead of the fighting front also W'ere bombed.
