Lord Advocate was five lengths in front and may prove hard to heat in the steward's Handicap. Foxhaven finished better than in a trial earlier in the week to beat ralTrey bv a length on the completion of ten furlong?. with Scottish Dale and Night. Pal three length away. They ran the final mile in 1.43 3-ss, and the final half in 51 3-55. Scottish Dale did not trail the others this time, and did not finish so well. Big Top was too good Tor Great Legend, with Kilcato further back, after running a mile in 1.46 4-5, tbe first half taking 53 2-53. Smart Seven Furlongs Steady Stand. John O’ London and Banco finished in line, with Gayfort and Bannockburn following at intervals, at the end of seven furlongs run in the smart time of 1.29 2-5, the opening three in 36 2-ss.
