GOOD COMPANIONS
SERVICEMEN ENTERTAINED The Good Companions, who, under the direction or Mr Howard Moody and his associate, Mr Elton Black, have been entertaining men and women or the services for some months, presented a new revue tills week. The sparkling programme proved very popular. With .Mr Moody at the piano the revue opened with a gay chorus. Renee Loach, with burlesque military skits, Elton Black, " it;» Scottish humour, and Horrie Loach, "'I til dramatic characterisations, proved 'e y popular with the uniformed audience, and other very enjoyable items were songs by Jean Johanson, Heather MacDonald and Joy Macdonald, violin solos by Morton Kelly and quartettes by Sain Duncan. Eric Cbote, Elton Black'and Horrie Loach. Some very runny sketches, including a breach or promise action in song, and community singing concluded the programme. After the performance members or the party were entertained at supper In the officers’ mess.
