PUBLIC OPINION

CURRENT VIEWPOINTS

INTENSIVE PRODUCTION (To the Editor) Sir, —I see that a farmer at Monovale expects to graze 70 cows on a 50-acre farm and produce 20.000 of butterfat. How can he do that while another man can graze only 40 cows on 48 acres? I fail to see how his farm can produce the amount of grass to keep them*going. Does he get more manure than anybody else? And it cannot be that serpentine stuff. I am allowed only 2 ton 8 cwt. Is more manure going to some farmers than to others?—l am, etc., COW COCKY’S WIFE.
