Matamata stables will be strongly repre- | sented in the Waimai Hurdles field, with Ureklaw, Winning Tray and Prince Rewa. All have been working and schooling well, especially the last named, whose success at Ellcrslie in the Rangitoto Hurdles recently was achieved in solid style. Winning Tray has been racing with a consistency that commends his claims and he will be meeting Prince Rewa on 8 lb better terms on this occasion. Other Matamata representatives who have been shaping well in their allotted tasks are Century, Merry Vaals, Foxsen and Gold Stand. Mysito was injured last Saturday and had to be destroyed.
