EXPRESSES DELAYED
MISHAP ON MAIN TRUNK The express which left Wellington l'or Auckiand at 3 p.m. yesterday and the rebei express which followed 40 minutes later were considerably delayed by a power failure caused by an overhead electric cable falling near Porirua and becoming entangled with the pantograph of the electric locomotive drawing the first express on the Wellington-Paekaka-liki section. The first express was an hour and a-half late when it
reacned Frankton this morning, the relief train also being well behind schedule. There was no delay to the Limited express.
