IMPROVED SERVICE

HAMILTON—TE AROHA BUSES Supported by representatives of various local bodies, headed by the Mayor of Te Aroha, Mr L. C Mackie, an application by Buses Limited for an increased bus service between Hamilton and Te Aroha was granted by the No. 1 Licensing Authority, Mr E. J. Phelan, yesterday. It was stated that the service had previously been curtailed but now there had been a slight easing in the position, and it would be possible to allow a daily week-day return service between Hamilton and Te Aroha. An application by the same company for a Sunday return service from Te Aroha to the Waikato Hospital was also granted.
