CHANNEL PORTS RAIDED
SEVERAL VESSELS DAMAGED (Official Wireless) (Received Nov. 18, 1 p.m.) RUGBY, November 17. Two minesweepers, a trawler and a motor launch w'ere damaged by Typhoons attacking enemy-held Channel ports on Wednesday. I The minesweepers were lying at the quayside at St. Peter, the port | of Guernsey. Intense flak came from the quay but the pilots saw their cannon-shells hitting the ships. | Other Typhoons attacked a trawler and a motor launch moored in the dock at Le Zauoux in the face of intense flsjc. Two fighters are missing.
