JAPANESE LINES PIERCED CHUNGKING, Nov. 16 The Chinese penetrated the Japanese lines at many points on the Yangtse front, advancing to the outskirts of Ichang. where severe fighting is progressing, says the American Press. Tne Chinese recaptured Hokow. The Japanese occupied Snihmen. The Chinese attacked the Japanese at Sinyang, dislocating Japanese communications with many places nearby.
