JEWS SENT TO CAMP NEW YORK, Nov. 8 The Argentina President, General Pedro Ramirez, has created an Argentina Himmler, says the Santiago, correspondent of the New York HeraldTribune. quoting travellers from Buenos Aires.

General Ramirez has given his personal aide, Leopoldo Lugones. charge of the new political police, with 1000 picked detectives as the nucleus of a nation-wide Gestapo. This force has already raided, without warrants, homes of unionists, Jews and foreigners, some of whom have oeen sent to a concentration camp in Patagonia. Lugones, who is responsible only to Ramirez, is notorious for torturing political prisoners. He was discharged from a control reformatory for torturing boys. Well-informed circles say that Lugones’ police will also operate against the intelligence services of the United Nations.
