Roan's (Tauranga) Glencoe, ridden by Mr A. Yamdlev, second. Mr H. Hill’s (Taneatua) Rainbow, ridden by Mr Hill, was third and Mr R. L. Hartley’s (Palmerston North) Snowstorm, ridden by Miss D. The winning school will hold the Challenge Shield presented by the Agricultural and Pastoral Association for competition among the school calf and agricultural clubs.
