JERSEY SIRES
VALUES AT TE AWAMUTU Competition was keen and there was a large attendance at the annual sale of the Te Awamutu Jersey Club at Te Awamutu. Top price for the day was obtained by Messrs D. and J. S. Patiison for thetr yearling. Davaar Regal Mastei, the buyer being Mr A. C. Lyburn of Wharepuhunga. at 50 gns. For 2-year-old bulls the top figure was 46 gns.. this being realised for Mr H. R. Clarke's Summit Kitchener. The buyer was Mr W. G. Neil, of Te Kawa.
Mr J. C. Peakes’ yearling bull Fernwood Magnot made 41 gns.. while an aged bull on behalf of Mr H. Fear sold for 40 gns.
The auctioneers ir. conjunction were Messrs Dalgety and Company. Limited, the Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneding Company. Limited, and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited.
