COAL MINERS STOP WORK LONDON, Sept. 28 A coal strike in Lanarkshire, Scotland, has spread and about 4500 miners have stopped work. They struck against the advice of their unions and the stoppage is a protest against the fining of a miner who took part in an earlier unofficial strike.
