SERVICES VOTE
MAJORITY TO LABOUR (By TeD-'-nn’i—Association* WELLINGTON, Monday An analysis of the services’ polling for the 76 European electorates discloses the following distribution of votes among the parties:— Labour . . . . 38,622 National . . .. 24,794 Democratic Labour 4,887 All others .. .. 3,096 Total .. .. 71,399 The Labour Party received the majority of service votes in 58 of the 76 electorates. The 18 others were Riccarton, Remuera, Stratford, Rangitikei, Kaipada, Egmont, Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, Waipawa, Waitomo, Christchurch North, Waikato, Pahiatua, Franklin, Hauraki, Clutha, Manawatu and Central Otago.
