No Coal Delivered
No householders in Auckland have received coal for a full week and no orders have been accepted owing to the fact that the Auckland Coal Dealers* Association is still awaiting the Price Tribunal’s decision on the new price for the 140 lb. sacks, which are the heaviest members of the Auckland Drivers’ Union will carry. No finality had been reached by the Tribunal yesterday, according to the secretary of the Dealers’ Association and in the meantime deliveries would not be made.
