KEEN DEMAND FOR BULLS
MORRINSVILLE JERSEY CLUB There was a rerord attendance of buyers from surrounding- districts at the 11th annual pedigree bull sale of the Morrinsville Jersey Club. Keen competition ruled throughout the sale, the top price being 51 guineas and the majority of bulls selling from •.‘.'•g’.is upwards. Prior to the sale a parade and show was held, the two-year-old and over class being won by Mr I'. Furlong’s "Bopeep's l > lit hie." with Mr J. Buchanan’s ‘’Barak Park -.old” second. The yearling class wa- w <xi by Mr I*. 11. .Miers’ Bata Butler I ad. " with Mr N. M. Colson’s • Bro .kdell Moss” second and Mr J. K. lamp's•• Fen View Briars Boy” third. Hie placed bulls in each section competed lur in grand championship, which was won by Mr Miers* entry with Mr .N. M. Poison's entry reserve champion. The chanipi "ii bull was later sold at the top price or the sale, signs, to Mr B. 11. Catenby. Tli' sale was conducted by the N.Z. 1 nan and Mercantile Agency Co..
