DOCTOR ARRESTED
CHARGE AT NGARUAWAHIA George Brownlee Isdale, medical practitioner, Ngaruawahia, was arrested today and later appeared before Messrs Knight and Jackson, J's.P., at the Ngaruawahia Court charged that on or about May 17, 1943, he conspired with a certain woman to commit a crime by the unlawful use of an instrument or by other means to procure a miscarriage. On the application of the police a remand was granted for a week to the Magistrate’s Court at Hamilton. Accused was admitted to bail in the sum of £250, with a surety of a like amount.
