TEAR'S OPERATION’S REVIEWED A net profit on the year’s operation, after making provision for depreciation and taxation, of £16.083 12s. is shown in the annual report of the Auckland Farmers’ Freezing Company. Limited. A dividend at the rate of 5> 2 per cent per annum is recommended by the directors. Except for pigs, killing of various classes of stock for the year showed an increase. 102 706 cattle being killed against 89.062 the previous year. 127.541 sheep in j comparison with 122.719. 110 024 pigs against 156.695 and 327.969 bobby calves in comparison with 298.211. In addition. i there was stock killed at the Horotiu works for consumption in the Hamilton abattoir district. Butter received amounted to 3.381,912 boxes, cheese amounting to 355.846 crates. The total butter showed an increase of .28 per cent and the total cheese a deciease of 53.6 per cent. The directors to retire by rotation at the annual meeting on September 24. Messrs E. IC. Edkins end J. G. Ritchie, are offering themselves for re-election.
