CIVIC THEATRE In “This Above All" a great love story develops against the background of the war. Very fine work is done by Joan Fontaine, Tyrone Power and the rest of the cast. “Immortal Sergeant,” the film version of John Brophy’s novel, will head the new programme on Friday. ROXY THEATRE “Stick to Your Guns” is a popular Hopalong Cassidy story. The adventures of the Bar-20 cowboys provide plenty of excitement. William Boyd is again Hopalong and is supported by a strong cast. "Million Dollar Baby" is a bright romantic comedy, with Priscilla Lane. Jeffrey Lynn and Ronald Regan heading the cast. THEATRE ROYAL Owing to the theatre being otherwise occupied, films will r.ot be screened tonight. Tomorrow “The Glass King” will be screened This is a thrilling mystery story bv the author of “The Thin Man” and “The Maltese Falcon” and is filled with exciting situations. Brian Donlevy and Veronica Lake have the romantic leads, and Alan Ladd, that very fine actor, has a prominent role.
