CIVIC THEATRE "This Above All" is the interesting picture version of Eric Knight's widelyread book and brings the story to the screen very convincingly. A great love story develops against the background of the war. Very fine work is done by Joan Fontaine, Tyrone Power and the rest of the cast. Realistic scenes of the bombing of London are included: A travalogue of Pio de Janeiro, in colour, is a feature of the supporting programme. ROXY THEATRE ! The Hopalong Cassidy stories are very | popular, and the latest of the series, "Stick to Your Guns." is as entertaining as previous ones. The adventures of the Bar-20 cowboys provide plenty of excitement. William Boyd is again Hopalong and is supported by a strong cast. "Million | Dollar Baby” is a bright romantic com:edv, with Priscilla Lane, Jeffrey Lynn and [Ronald Reagan heading the _ cast There are some interesting "shorts." I STATE THEATRE j “Mexican Spitfire Out West” continues • the amusing and exciting adventures of ! the Mexican Spitfire (Lupe Velez) and ! Leon Errol.
