COLLISION IN AIR

PROMINENT PILOT KILLED (Official Wlrelessi (Received August 25, 11.30 a.m.) RUGBY, August 24 John De Havilland, one of the pilots who tested the first Mosquito, the world’s fastest bomber, was killed yesterday in a mid-air collision between two Mosquitoes.

He was one of three sons of Captain Geoffrey De Havilland, head of, the De Havilland Aircraft Company.
