CANDIDATES FOR ELECTION (Received June 15, 11.30 a.m.) CAPETOWN, June 14 Three hundred and . thirty-flve candidates have been nominated for 150 seats at the general election, which will be held on July 7. There are 45 triangular or four-cornered contests. Eighteen seats are not opposed, including that of the Opposition Leader, Mr F. S. Malan. Field-Marshal Smuts has two opponents, including a woman Independent. The Government party has nominated 132 candidates and the Opposition 110.
