Copyright) (Received April 10, 11.40 a.m.) NEW YORK, April 9 Mr Wendell Willkie will accept the Australian-American Co-operation Movement’s invitation to visit AusI tralia if the Senate Department permits. Mr Willkie said he would gladly go to Australia if he can be helpful and the Government consents. “It is important for the future welfare of our country that close rela- ' tionship should be cemented between l the peoples of the two Countries,” ; said Mr Willkie. “I will suggest to 1 the Australians who invited me that • they make application to our Govern- ! ment for the necessary permission.”
