SWELTERING HEAT
BUSH FIRES IN AUSTRALIA (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) SYDNEY, Feb. 3. Three of Australia’s capital cities, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, have sweltered during a week of high temperatures. Bush fires have broken out over a large part of Victoria. On six days Adelaide’s temperature was above 100 decrees.
