SOCIAL NOTES

Mrs V. Kerr, Auckland, who has been visiting Hamilton, has returned home. Mrs S. P. Mountain, New Plymouth, is visiting Hamilton. Miss Karen Dare Jones, Auckland, is spending a few days in Hamilton. Mrs A. G. Fisher, Devonport, and Mrs L. E. Carter, Auckland, were week-end visitors to Hamilton.

Mrs Helen Bell, Pongakawa, Bay of Plenty, is visiting the Waikato. Mrs G. E. Waterworth, Napier, is visiting Hamilton. Miss O. M. Fitchett, Dunedin, who has been appointed to the position of headmistress of the Waikato Diocesan School is in Hamilton and is the guest of Mrs A. B Whyte. Misses Kathleen Barrett and Margaret Neilson, of the Allied Army Nursing service, were in Hamilton on Friday, staying at the Hamilton Hotel.
